Meet sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah, founder of MTL Makers.

I'm a lifelong crafter with a passion for creativity, learning, and bringing people together. Throughout my life, I've found joy in making things by hand, exploring new crafts, and discovering the sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something unique.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Education and began my career as a history teacher, where I developed a love for sharing knowledge and helping others build confidence in their abilities. Today, I'm also a naturopath, and I bring a holistic approach to everything I do, believing that creativity, mindfulness, and connection are important parts of overall well-being.

When I'm not crafting, you'll often find me immersed in the things that inspire and ground me: spending time in nature, meditating, exploring spirituality, working with crystals, or getting lost in a good book. As an active member of two book clubs, I'm always looking for opportunities to learn, connect, and exchange ideas with others.

I created MTL Makers to build a welcoming community where people can slow down, unplug from their busy lives, and rediscover the joy of making something with their own hands. Whether you're an experienced crafter or trying something new for the first time, I hope you'll join us to create, connect, and be inspired.
